Cain Brothers House Calls Podcast: Where Is the Market for Menopause?

Women are looking for information, treatment and better ways to navigate menopause. If traditional healthcare can’t support them, will market innovators step up to meet that demand?

Read more on the importance of integrated care from Cain Brothers’ Stacy Guffanti on one of healthcare’s stranger market failures.

75 Million Consumers Are Hard to Ignore

About 75 million American women are in perimenopause, menopause or post-menopause, and another 6,000 enter menopause every day. That’s not a niche, that’s a market. So why hasn’t healthcare built a robust system of services around it?

Cain Brothers’ Stacy Guffanti and Alexandra Clemens join 4sight Health’s David W. Johnson to dig into one of healthcare’s stranger market failures:

  • Enormous consumer demand
  • Insufficient data and research
  • Lack of claim codes

In this 30-minute listen, they explore what’s holding menopause care back, and where healthcare organizations, entrepreneurs and investors should be looking next.

House Calls is produced with Cain Brothers, a division of KeyBanc Capital Markets.
